Pricing

Free. Self-hosted. Every feature included.

Dbase runs on infrastructure you control, with nothing gated behind a tier. The plans below preview how a future hosted offering would be priced — there's no billing today.

Plans couldn't be loaded right now. Dbase is free and self-hosted either way — start your project or check back in a moment.

Questions

Is there a hosted or managed version?

Not right now. Every Dbase deployment is self-hosted and run on infrastructure you control. The plans above describe the tiers of a hosted offering we may introduce later.

Are there paid tiers or usage limits?

There is no billing today — nothing to buy and nothing gated. The plans shown here preview how a future hosted Dbase could be tiered; the self-hosted platform remains free with every feature included.

So what does it actually cost?

Dbase itself is free. You pay for whatever you run it on — a server, a Postgres instance, and, if you use them, an email provider for auth emails and object storage for uploads.

How many projects can I create?

As many as your Postgres instance can hold. Each project gets its own schema, its own auth secret, and its own API keys.

Is support included?

Documentation and the support form are available to everyone. There is no SLA or dedicated account manager — this is a self-hosted tool, not a managed service.

What do I need to run it myself?

Node.js, pnpm, and PostgreSQL 16 or later. See the self-hosting guide for the full setup.
